Hello to everyone visiting my blog!

It's been a VERY long time since I've updated things here. In the past year, I've been working solely on private commission and, in most cases, since these either need to remain private, or the customer has paid for exclusivity to the image, it has left me with precious little to post as of late.

But, checking the visitor numbers here on the blog, I can still see that the activity of visitors here is still pretty strong! So I think all of you for stopping by to check things out.

As many of you know, I have done work for comixxxstore.com, which has recently closed their business. But, if you were unable to pick up some of my comics there (or didn't know that I had them there), I'm making them available direct from me!

I have three "packs" available. All will be delivered via email as PDF's.

A few things you need to know before making your purchase--

 - All payments need to be made via PayPal.

 - You'll need to email me at johnson.superheroineart@gmail.com before buying and (truthfully) state that you over the age of 18 years old.

 - I check my email all day, so turn around time from payment to receiving the comics is usually only a few hours. However, I'm not always home and I do sleep, so if either of those things are happening, I'll send your books out as soon as I'm back at my computer.

 - Again, just to be clear, these are XXX comics, so just be sure that you're aware of what you're buying.

Comic Pack A consists of three comics-- Aya: Princess of Darkness, Jalila #1 and Jalilia #2. Purchase price 9.95 USD.

NEW ADULT SUPER HEROINE COMICS AVAILABLE!

The adult comic book community is HUGE! Much larger than I ever thought before I started working it.

The biggest problem facing artist and publishers right now is the world of PIRACY.

Yes, we all love free stuff and when you can click a button on your computer and download something for free, the thought is always "well, someone else will be buying it, so what difference will me downloading it make?"

The answer is: a big one.

With almost everyone thinking the same thing, a book that ends up in the hands of thousands-- possibly tens of thousands worldwide-- is only purchased by about 50 people.

This is the reason why I was unable to move forward with my own adult comic, Batarella. I wanted very much to produce that comic! But when I looked at the numbers provided to me by my publisher, they were not promising.

It is impossible for any artist, publisher or website to offer books that take a month of full work to produce, by 1-3 people, for a reasonable price and only sell 10-20 copies a month. By the time that trickles down, an artist will only make, if lucky, $100 for a full month of work. That's insane.

Again, this all comes down to piracy.

If you love the art artists create and have any respect for them as human beings who are NOT big time musicians or "movie stars" or whoever else may make millions of dollars; but rather a hard working, middle-class Joe like yourself, then you owe it to them to purchase their art rather than downloading it from some site for free.

I love what I do, but I can only survive doing it by taking commissions now. Creating work of my own in the hopes that others will enjoy it enough to buy and support it is just not a possibility.

So, with all that in mind, I'm about to promote some new comics that I have available at comixxxstore.com

They just recently uploaded SIX new comics, all illustrated by me. They also updated their site with plenty of other new books, too!

If you have no interest in that sort of thing, then I would never ask you to go and buy something just to "help" me. I only ask that if you ARE interested in adult comics that you purchase them there rather than waiting to download them for free at your usual piracy site. We truly do need your support if we're going to be able to continue to create all the art that you all love.

"WHY DON'T YOU UPDATE YOUR BLOG?"

I'd love to update this sucker with all kind of new art all the time.

The problem is that almost all the illustrations I've done in the past few years are "private" commissions. Meaning that the person who paid for them is the sole owner of the art and thus, I can't post on the 'net without their permission.

After many, many inquires and requests, I've finally found a way to make my XXX DC super heroine comics available to everyone!

There are four, full-length, 24 page comics-- with several sexy pin-up's in the back of the book-- each available for a small "donation" of $4.95 each, or $15.95 for all four.

The donation is to help fund my new adult series Batarella, and in exchange for your donation-- you may choose one, two, three of all of the four books I have available, depending on the size of your "donation".
